Shipping and Returns
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Standard shipments are sent by UPS, FedEx and USPS within the
Continental USA.
RETURNS
If any product does not satisfy your needs, it may be returned
within 30 days. Special orders are not returnable. Before returning any item,
call (800) 842-8624 to obtain information on how to return. Refunds and credits
are issued for the value of the merchandise, but not for the shipping and
processing fee. To be acceptable for return, items must be in resalable
condition and in their original manufacturer’s boxes with all instructions and
warranties. The manufacturer’s box must not have stickers, stamps or writing on
it, or a restocking and re-boxing fee will be assessed.
When a manufacturer’s restocking fee is indicated next to an item,
it will be deducted from the refund. Because of health department regulations
we cannot accept returns of items that have been used on or in the body, such
as thermometers, ear/eye care products, manicuring aids, earbuds, etc.
Healthcare, Grooming, Hearing, Computer Software, Medical Devices and Canes are
not returnable.
DAMAGED MERCHANDISE
If an order arrives damaged, Chicago Lighthouse Industries must be
notified within 24 hours. The product and all packaging material must be
retained until the matter is resolved with the shipping carrier.
PRODUCT WARRANTIES
Unless otherwise indicated, Chicago Lighthouse Industries warrants
products for 30 days. After this period, the manufacturer’s warranty applies
and customers need to contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement of the
item. Whenever possible, Chicago Lighthouse Industries will assist the customer
with contacting the manufacturer. Please note that warranties cover defects in
workmanship and material.
They do not cover breakage or damage to the product resulting from
customer abuse.
