Welcome to Chicago Lighthouse Industries!

Products The Serve a Greater Good

75% of our employees are people who are blind or visually impaired.
We are also one of the last major clock manufacturers in the US.

Chicago Lighthouse Industries began in 1977 as part of the federal AbilityOne Program, which was created to provide meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities throughout the United States. As part of that initiative, The Chicago Lighthouse received a contract to build high quality clocks for the U.S. Government and its agencies.

Those clocks can be found on the walls of government offices, military bases, embassies and other government agencies in the U.S. and abroad. Since then we expanded our offerings to the commercial and consumer markets as well. You can now find our clocks in factories, warehouses, schools, hospitals, homes, offices and, even ski resorts around the world. .

Our product lines do not end at clocks, however. We produce a wide array of office products, from computer docking stations, monitor arms and laptop risers to seat cushions and screen and lens cleaners. Best of all, every purchase made through Chicago Lighthouse Industries helps support employment of people who are blind or visually impaired, so you can know your purchase is serving a greater good.
